Two best friends, Vasu (Mammootty) & Chacko (Ratheesh), who starts off with petty spirit smuggling for liquor baron Sreekantan (T.G. Ravi) starts their own venture after an altercation with Sreekantan. They soon rise to the top of the business, ruthlessly mowing down everyone in their path, including Sreekantan & also forget their roots in the process. Sreekantan's widow Kanakam (Jayamalini) teams up with Sreekantan's old business partner K.R.C. (B. Thyagarajan) to bring Vasu & Chacko down. (Summary by iceblox)
