"Not Good" is unfair, more "ordinary". Very much "of its time" somewhat salvaged by the sweet singing even if it was in Japanese. Obvious star vehicle for Japanese megastar of the time Hibari IMO, (who's reputation still lingers even today and who overcame a strong LBTQ trait at a time where it was not the done thing at all) tho her slight stature makes some of the plot inane IMO, is in especially fine voice.

This was a fun little musical. Hibari Misora seems to have been a big star in the '50s and '60s but she has been a relative blind spot for me.
