God Awful Movies 75/100. Not a Pure Flix evangelical preaching-to-the-choir film---no evil athiests, deep prayers, or miracles, though we're still in a bubble separate from pop culture. Sadly this sugarcoats evil fundamentalist camps. I wish they cast good singers instead of vanilla Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The camp facilities are awesome. Fav scene: guy dives in front of girl to save her from dodgeballs, but he misses all of them and she gets whacked in the face; conservative swimsuits.

Look I just picked this randomly on Netflix and didn't know this was going to be a Jesus movie until the first song where they sing about the Bible lmao. I kept watching out of curiosity. Not as bad as expected - some of the songs actually great. But yeah cheesy and simplistic as hell

W4E2P1S1V1M2A1R2. As cheesy as you'd expect, and not much of a plot beyond a vehicle for the songs, but the songs are great and mostly very well sung. It also has a spiritual message that felt extremely inviting and inclusive and less in your face than other films in the genre.
