George Arliss plays a wealthy business man who rarely gets to meet his family. But when he does get to be home they are too busy for him with all their high society activities. So something his butler says gives him an idea; "The poor don't get to go out very often.". So he pretends he's ruined and the family is happy together for a day. A little too sun shiny for my taste, but I enjoy Arliss in his calm old man manner, and the various support roles does help bring in the warmth to this movie.
