A Shot in the Dark

Not a great movie in any sense of the word. I guess the best thing I can say about this murder mystery is that it could have been worse. The production values are very basic and it's only the quality actors in the main roles that holds this together with Robert Warwick, Edward Van Sloan and Charles Starrett doing their bit to make it work. It still becomes a fairly drowsy affair even if people kept getting knocked-off.
