A Run for Your Money

Two lucky Welch (not Irish) comes to London to collect their winnings and they acquaint several questionable characters after their money. One of them being Alec Guinness! And we get to have fun and danger with them chasing each other around the city with Welch music playing in the background. Okay Ealing comedy. Doesn't play-out in the most memorable fashion, but they did work hard to make it lively.

Charming, clever quasi-romantic comedy about two Welsh miners who win an all expenses paid trip to the big city (London) with the wonderful Alec Guinness as their guide.  Of course, things don't go quite as planned and hilarity ensues. Probably not enough toilet humor for modern audiences, however.  If you are Welsh or love Wales though, you will want to add this forgotten classic to your list.

Gently funny. Hugh Griffith stands out.
