Just a bad script. I mean, they named the guys Red and Gally. And basically everything is just a giant stack of coincidence because they had no idea how to connect two different scenes. Other than that it was fine. Pretty harmless.

Half assed script with the only saving grace being some occasional good grumpy scenes from Duvall. He has old badass down to a science, but it's wasted here.

I am a big fan of Robert Duvall but it looks like he's also one of the actors like de Niro and Al Pacino who better retire now before he really starts to embarrass himself with even worse performances.
