Thanhouser makes a modern take on the Count of Monte Cristo story. Not bad, but it doesn't really have any killer scenes to make it a lasting adaption of Alexandre Dumas writings. A bit to simplistic in it's production values and nothing outstanding about the acting. But it's passable.
