A Lady Takes a Chance

Jean Arthur does her supadupa cuty-loopy thing on hunky John Wayne!!! Such an odd couple to have such good chemistry. This was a pure Arthur type rom-com where Wayne was her tasty flesh of meat. Very scenario based cuteness with each scene turned up the adorable-level to the max. Yes, a bit too much as you felt Arthur's puppy eyes where going to pop out! A little too predictable too, but it was fun seeing Wayne carry himself so well in what was such a women's comedy.

I love how light and breezy this film is! And the scene where Jean gets mad and says something like "Okay! Go ahead! Go ahead!" and walks out just showed me that even mad, she's so attractive! I could never stay mad at her, even if she yelled at me like that, cause gosh, she turns me on! Great movie.
