White it struggles to become hilarious, A Girl in Every Port (1952) is constantly silly. Groucho Marx & William Bendix have this non-stop scammer vs sucker exchange, and Marie Wilson pops in for a little conscience once in a while. They enter the horse racing racket and rackets the racket with twin horses. The jokes are funny, even if they under perform. But it doesn't matter. For this was a rare time horse racing was fun.
