A Feather in Her Hat

This might at times feel lull and slow, but I really liked this a lot! I found the acting quite remarkable. Very modern, especially by 1930s standards. This film with all it's peculiar little British people going about their way with a odd but beautiful mother/son story in the middle of it all. I'm glad Lord got to showcase her skills in such a strong role as she only did two films. My heart really opened up for Louis Hayward & Wendy Barrie feeling they were the ones that made this come alive.

"A Feather in Her Hat" is a love story, but not in the ordinary sense. It is an interesting take on parenting, and the acting was excellent.
