A Faraway Land

Faroe Islands is very similar to Norway, both in culture and landscape, so a romance story set in familiar settings was interesting to us as a Norwegian-Filipino family. And it touches on the differences in the way of life for those from the Philippines coming here to us in the cold north. To a stricter, seemingly colder less social society. I guess that's where the homesickness comes in and this poorly written in and even worse written out love affair. Simply becomes off-putting.
