Not very informative but highly enjoyable for any film buff.

I love 70's cinema, so there were a couple of interesting bits for me. All of the interviewees were great, too. But it's basically just a compilation of these guys saying cool things about cool films. Entertaining, but not very informative.

I have a lot of catching up to do on 70s cinema.

More of a documentary on how the 70's were influenced, not how movies of later generations were influenced by the 70's.

Robert Altman: "I don't even know the names of my biggest influences. I would go see a bad movie and say to myself 'never do that!'" Fun watch for film buffs out there.

It's really just a bunch of esteemed directors and actors and writers talking about twenty or thirty of the best films from the 70s. It's not very informative, but I agree with the notion that films from that decade could have only existed in that decade, so it was enjoyable.

Not enough information, just a collection of interesting (or not) quotes from great directors.

Basically a "greatest hits" clip show of the seventies. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just doesn't stick with you.

Kind of fun, but not very informative. Too much ground to cover, and not enough time to do it effectively.
