A Classic Horror Story

Not badly done, but the turn towards "self-reflexivity" (or whatever term one prefers when the narrative shifts in a way designed to draw attention to the film's own status as belonging to the horror genre) has become quite familiar, and the particular variant in which "the girl turns the tables and doles out violent justice" is rarely satisfying or interesting. There are a couple of chuckles and effective moments though.

Classic. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Sort of cashes in on the folk horror thing that's all the rage right now but also does it in a way that suggests there's going to need to be a Purge length series of films to explain the mafia mother figure and how that ties into anything.

Annoying hodge podge of ripping off Midsommar & Evil Dead (just because you winkingly acknowledge it doesn't make it any better) turning into a sort of metacommentary a la Funny Games, ultimately without any kind of impact. Shame because all the performances were good.

Actually has some good ideas, both story and visual-wise. What it lacks is the confidence to know which ones to go with and when to sit in them; instead it veers wildly from creepy folk horror to metaphysical limbo to worn-out meta horror before finally disappearing up its own ass. Che peccato.

It was okay when it comes to some of the horror scenes, plus the visuals are beautiful and creepy. It just feels that in its reflection of making a mockery or a stand concerning horror movies in general, it's really pushing its point too strongly and force-feeding you some agenda of 'movie watchers sure are ungrateful blood-thirsty brats' or 'all horror movies borrow shit from other movies' or 'look haha we are being so self-aware bruh'.

I'll probably forget about this movie in record time.

i really liked the idea. I really liked the acting. I really liked the visuals. I really liked the movie itself and being this not only an horror movie but also an italian horror movie i'm wondered by the result. Good job

A bit all over the place. Still entertaining.

Kalan sağlam bizimdir mantığı ile devam eden film, gotik tarzıyla etkilemeye çalışmış. Fakat amacı belli olmayan bu durum, filmi basitleştirmiş. Hatta tempo sorunu da var. Ölüm sahneleri iğrenç. Filmin sonunda, herşey sahteymiş. Netflix olmuş Bloodflix.

Not bad, the third act is where the movie picks up. Worth watching if you enjoy the violence and gore.

Good looking movie in a visually way, but it cannot choose what it wants to represent, ordinary horror or self-aware black comedy.

I couldn't agree more with the sentiments expressed regarding social media...and that's about it.
