Wow, this was excellent. This is probably the best coming of age road trip movie I've seen. Every step in his adventure felt important and impactful, especially the car poem scene. It was like watching someone find the first few steps on the long path of enlightenment that he didn't even know he was on. It's amazing I can still find movies that are new to me that offer new insight, perspective, and philosophy. This film is standalone (no connection to previous entries in the franchise).
