Have you ever seen a Hallmark Christmas movie in your life? If so, you've basically seen this one.

All the cliches. Strong jawed prince with a heart of gold. Quirkly girl with a quirkier spunky kid helping her out. It's just that... the acting is terrible and the coincidences are way too flagrant even for the confines of a Christmas movie. All one-note characters aside from Ben Lamb's prince. His two notes take the cake!

I mean, it's okay. Nothing special - even as a bad movie, really. Sure, there's some of the standard wish-fulfillment aspects, but even those are just kind of... C'mon, Netflix, put more *effort* into your intentionally bad movies. Seriously.

It's eye-rolling dumb and filled with shitty cliches. Why wasn't she arrested immediately? That's some stupid shit. There is no chemistry between the actors, and it's a bit fucked up to propose to someone after just a week. What the fuck?

This is a terrible film with a predictable and totally unbelievable plot. The characters are uninteresting and their motivations seem contrived. Overall this film is a disaster.

Modern day fairy story that you have seen a million times, except this time they don't even try to pretend that it's a fairy story which gives it some charm. You can watch it at Christmas time with your loved one and will have a good time, you might also enjoy it you are craving for a fairy tale story, but aside from these specific cases it's hard to recommend it.

Not going to bother with a detailed analysis on this one. But I've grown to really appreciate the mindless simplicity of a Hallmark movie in my adult life.

This is pretty much standard TV movie romantic comedy fare. The plot is pretty predictable the moment the main character tries to pretend to be the tutor. I think what really brings this movie down is the setting. Amber sneaks into the palace of the royal family like she was walking into a store. There is no identification check, no oversight while being left alone with royalty, nothing. It's quite ridiculous really.

Absolute Christmas Cringe. Netflix knew exactly what they were making though, which lessens my enjoyment. I prefer accidentally terrible movies. Still, some Christmas I may watch the additional installments they made of this.

I'm so tired of films about "liars with hearts of gold." It's cliche, boring, predictable, and in spite of the actresses best attempt, the main character feels so fake. However, I almost died laughing at that scene with the wolf so it wasn't a complete waste of time...
