Had to watch this with poor resolution and no English and can't find any evidence this has ever been distributed in America. But its awesome. Really awesome and off the wall with effects that handily betters even Sam Raimi's best effects work. You will never see Buddha so pissed as in this amazing film. Much campier than the first one but the makers literally taught themselves stop motion between this one and that one, check it out!

Can you see the seams? Yeah. Does the giant ghoul look like anything other than a puppet with a smoke effect? Nah. Is it creaky and absurd? Entirely. Is it imaginitaive, fast-paced, exciting, hilarious, jaw-dropping….? Yep, yep, yep. If you liked the more insane aspects of A Chinese Ghost Story and thought, “Let’s do that again, only with more of the batshit stuff,” hop on board this sequel. Isn’t it great when a movie is as awesome as its poster??

From the same director as the first release of Ghost Stories. Movie has similar quality to the first movie and totally enjoyable. Specially i loved sword fight scenes.

Even by Hong Kong standards, the effects were a little cheesy at the time this was released, but you don't watch Chinese horror movies for killer effects. There's an aire of fun and self-aware awesomeness to these movies and this one has it in spades.
