A Bid for Fortune

A British crime story of the silent variety for those that enjoy the type of fiction as the French were so good at delivering in the silent era. You know, like Fantômas (1913), Les vampires (1915) & Judex (1916). Perhaps not as creative, but it started out in a very satisfying way, even if it didn't totally deliver on it's potential as the crime story progressed. Still plenty of adventure and mysterious nonsense along the way.
