91 Stomperud was a popular comic strip here in Norway, and was inspired by Sweden's 91:an Karlsson. While there was never a Norwegian film cross-over, the Swedes did a handful films of the comic soldier. This first one is kind of dreadful for the most part. Some of the characters are funny, but Gus Dahlström as 91 himself is a catastrophe. If it wasn't for that pervy Peeping Tom scene with actual naked women, I wouldn't have remembered anything at all about this movie.
