80 for Brady

Yes, its a dumb movie. Yes, it's not a great movie. But, it was fun and I laughed many times throughout, and whats wrong with that?

Watchable, but most of the actors really phoned this in

4 elderly women travel to Houston to watch Tom Brady and the Patriots play in Super Bowl 51. This movie goes about as well as Brady's final season in the NFL.

While the film's cast is strong, and the themes of friendship and determination are appealing, the script falls short and relies too heavily on clichés. Overall, it's an enjoyable film that will leave you with a smile on your face, but it lacks the depth and originality of other films with similar themes.

"80 for Brady" is lackluster, with a formulaic storyline and unimpressive performances by its well-known cast. It was predictable, and it failed to hold my attention. The star power of the actors may cause you to think it's worth watching, thing again.

Lots of fun to be had here and it is a pleasure watching these do their thing.

Even as a Giants fan and this playing too much as an official NFL film -- Brady produced it --, I found this cute. You know, cast seems to really have enjoyed doing this and, despite its formulaic plot, it has its moments -- like the big party where they do drugs and do some crazy stuff, like Rita Moreno's character looking for a Wide Eyes Shut sex room and playing poker with a bunch of rich people.

Hardly rises above the level of sponsored content, but when it does, it's on the backs of the hilarious and legendary cast members. (And I don't just mean Guy Fieri.)

Some sledge-hammer star power here that threatens to overwhelm what is a fairly slight and silly excuse for a “GRUMPY OLD MEN” teaming of its elderly stars – there’s something to be said for the joy you can take in watching these ladies still strutting their stuff (especially (gasp) nonagenarian Moreno), but I pine for TEA WITH THE DAMES style meetings of these and similar legends, rather than putting them through overstated comic scenarios that don’t really showcase them to best advantage.
