Gripping, raw documentary is that rarity that perfectly captures the mood and feel for its contemporaneous time and place. If this is not the best movie of 2020, it is amongst the best of capturing the visceral feeling of existential dread of the year and the COVID-19 pandemic; effectively deals with universal fear and hopelessness, while contrasting with a heartening sense of practicality and pragmatic ideals offering a glimmer of hope by the film's climax.
