A fast-paced, violent, clichéd and very hollywoodian mob film that never quite reaches its goals.

or: Reno attempts to cut Liam Neeson's lunch - neither as bad or distinguishable from the array of TAKEN imitators, the set-up for this is intriguing, with Reno's hangdog demeanour perfect for this slippery character, but wastes too much time on the police procedural aspects that feel hackneyed and phoned-in from similar pot-boilers, and delays the serious arse kicking until almost the second half. Berry does pull off a few neat action sequences after take off, but almost too little too late.

good movie

i like reno, i like revenge, perfect combination. thought it would be a straight up revenge flick, it throws a few subplots on top of it to keep it fresh, moves at a faster pace than most revenge movies. great for when the mood strikes.

Reno is decent, but story and directing are awful.

Even Reno couldn't save this.

I can watch Jean Reno in just about anything. This film had a lot of potential but really drags with the unnecessary and unimaginative action sequences. The tedious scene after scene of violence and polished chase scenes detract from what could have been a very interesting plot. They clearly found the wrong director for this and the entire film feels completely alien to how French film has established itself as well as being a pale imitation of what the industry thinks is popular abroad.

Violent and gripping mob thriller with Reno! Excellent movie!

all points for reno, the movie tries to be Taken but doesnt manage to bring the style
