As a Turk, I think I get the allegoric (leftist) intentions of the producers. I don't deny atrocities during that "catastrophe"; surely much worse things happened. However, this looks like a complete hate directed to a people. Portrayal of Turkish people is completely ugly and awful. It doesn't work. It doesn't serve for a call to a more peaceful future. It just perpetuates misunderstandings and clinging at past atrocities. It just reproduces & feeds the ugly nationalisms of both sides.
