A unit of soldiers is increasingly riven by internal debates over the pursuit of medals versus the desire for survival. And it's all in the service of a rather pointless objective. For the Anglosphere-based viewer, an interesting curiosity, featuring both the young Carlos and the voice of Carlos from Cuentame como paso.

The Spanish version of what went down at the end of the Spanish colonial days of the Philippines. I wouldn't go as far to call it a great war drama. Takes too many shortcuts for that to reach it's shocking moments for that. The cast was solid, getting quite a few of Spain's popular actors to participate in this embarrassing episode from their colonial days. It's a intriguing story, a bit unevenly paced and glossed over, but worth a look if interested in this conflict.
