Unfortunately, this one does not live up to its name.

Edward Burns is an enigma. He should be in better movies than he is, and he should give up on directing forever. As for De Niro, this is no Ronin, but it ain't Godsend either.

Knew nothing and never heard of this flick until a few years ago when first viewed. It was a pretty decent and entertaining thriller that had a few De Niro-isms in it and a few well done violent scenes.

This movie surprised me. I expected an action thriller. Instead it was a dark comedy set against a crime spree. I can honestly say that 15 minutes before the end I did not know how it was going to end. I like a movie that is not so generic and predicable. This one worked. Not all believable but good enought.

If you are in the mood you can see the whole thing but if you got more interesting things to do—as sleep, for instance—you will probably end up stop watching it.

121 minutes too long........

It was pretty decent. It's a fun concept that isn't done as well as it coulda been, but DeNiro was entertaining and so was Burns. Some of the action is good as well, but the movie just never really clicks like it should. The ending was uninspired and just blah, some of the music usage was just awkward and made serious scenes silly.

Oddly unsatisfying, but worth a look.

Would have been tolerable had it only lasted 15 minutes.

There are some good action runs in this baby, no doubt. Occasionally it stoops to heavy handed characters in pain. Then there's the whole pseudo intelligent edge about being about the media & responsibility & all that, which really doesn't come across like i would like it to, particularly because of the ending which ties up a lot of loose threads. Pretty violent, nice fire stunts.

Lots of this works well, but it's overly violent and often sadistic.

Not perfect, but often original crime thriller with some solid acting and a few surprises.

Run of the mill thriller shot in that pseudo-edgy indie style that make most films from the early 00s look so dated already. Movie stars slumming it in a TV movie with extra violence. De Niro phones it in.

Smut posing as smut expose. Has nothing to say.

It was alrighty, though the ending was pretty weak. Good concept, bad deliverery

I think this was a novel concept and we even get a very good performance out of UFC legend Oleg Taktarov. Shocking on that level, at least.

ed burns is pretty good and it has a killer twist with about thirty minutes left

As much as I love Edward Burns, this movie blew.

A big letdown. What seemed like a good concept was ruined by lazy writing and lazy acting.
