11:14 tells the seemingly random yet vitally connected story of a set of incidents that all converge one evening at 11:14pm. It's a sort of musical chairs with a corpse, with the structurally intriguing storytelling style of "Memento" and "Run Lola Run." (Media 8 Entertainment)

I have never found the back-and-forth-in-time, interconnected-storyline form "structurally intriguing" enough to self-suffice, and when you get down to the actual substance, 11:14 holds your interest primarily by virtue of its sensationalism. Compulsively fumbling for violent death and mutilation at every plot turn may seem to the director like an easy way to produce cheap thrills and mild amusement, but since so many movies do this it comes off as lazy and immature.

Unexpectedly fun thriller with liberal doses of hilarious black comedy; contrived by definition but an excellent cast helps sell some of the implausable motivations and connections, with Thomas, Swayze and Cook standing out. Some obvious directorial choices (did we need to see so many digital clock readouts) don't hamper the film's success.

Happenings from the same 10-20 minute block of time told from 6 points of view, not told backwards, hence absolutely nothing like Memento. It doesn't do anything new, but instead takes a proven formula and peppers it with a bit of dark comedy to give it flavor. Enjoyable, but only if you like flawed characters, as they are all comparable to those coats with missing buttons sold at the Gap Factory Outlet Store.

at first look just another coincidental connectedness movie, but along the way gets hijacked into a black comedy-esque movie, with humorous situations that i couldnt seem to laugh at. it's definately a good watch, but only for those of us who like the extreme dark end of the comedy spectrum, and who dont need laugh out loud moments.

Everyone in this film is a douchebag. That's basically the film, how each douchebag is connected to the other douchebag, and how one douchebag's actions affects another douchebag's life.

I found myself losing interest in this way faster than I thought I would. Eventually the construct of having all these people meet at 11:14 just wore out--you come to realize there is no REASON for them to meet other than coincidence, and coincidence is not enough reason for a movie to exist or be watched.

Okay, but only if you turn your brain off first. 30 minutes into this movie I knew exactly what was going to happen and how it would end. It was pretty boring waiting for it all to happen.

It has an interesting story telling style and the story makes sense in the end but characters are really weak. Still a decent movie, worth watching if you don't have anything better to do.

This is a film for which the epithet "implausible" was created. It is basically a patchwork quilt of good gags, woven together as best they could into a vaguely cohesive story. The end result is highly enjoyable, not to be taken seriously (surely?) but best forgotten immediately, in order that the huge unanswered questions and forgotten story lines are not explored to any great depth. A great cast, sometimes criminally underused, did a super job. Did he manage to get his penis reattached?

Movie has great script and was enchanting to watch. Actors did great job. The flaw - shortness (82 min) and some 10 minutes of it i saw cast and crew names on the screen.

Pretty good dark comedy/"mystery", ties together nicely at the end. Some downright hilarious moments.

A deeply stupid film that tries, but fails, to disguise how painfully uninteresting its story is by employing a non-linear narrative structure, and one that's not nearly as clever as that used in Memento to which it's laughably compared. Worse, it devotes most of its running time to a post-hoc slut-shaming of a hit-and-run victim designed soley to erode any sympathy the viewer might have had for her. Far more concern is showed for the severed penis of one of her killers. Awful.

A fast-paced cleverly written thriller but does come off as a little pretentious at times, and I think it really needed to go out with more of a bang, but still really enjoyable.

Although often predictable, the film offered a unique, much darker & humorous plot line style than that of Crash or Memento. A very enjoyable film to sit and watch without having to think too much.

Nicely wrapped up in the end, and a reasonably smart idea. Can't say it was particularly exciting or I liked any of the characters though. And a lot of it predicates on people doing stupid stuff.

Alright multi-plot movie but nothing compared to crash and magnolia, which it is most similar to.

Fresh and fun, slows down at times and doesn't tie up all loose ends. Shifted time lines are not annoying and suspense is just enough to keep it going without trying for cheap cliffhangers. Its closed environment (very limited set of actors and locations) makes it intimate, not stifling. This is the kind of story that could happen anywhere, at least that's the impression I got. All in all well worth watching; a refreshing change from blockbusters.

Great to see all of the different prospective and view it from a information gathering and story comparison standpoint, and shows why it is bad to lie (to cops), because you will get caught.

Centers around a series of seemingly unrelated events that all converge at 11:14 pm. This is not a movie for casual viewing. The writer/director expects us to be intelligent enough that it's not necessary to use exposition to put events together. We see what happens, we draw our own conclusions. And it gets better as it goes along. The more complicated events become, the more layers of the characters we see revealed. I found the movie surprisingly enjoyable.

Clever little film, not the smartest of its type that I've seen but not too shabby either. Think they use the movie timings as some of the things the characters do in their respective stories would take longer than they seem to in the film. This would drag it below a 4 but I'm still in love with Rachael Leigh Cook so I'll forgive them. And if you close your eyes when Colin Hanks is shouting it could be Tom on screen, which is just eerie.
