Die Zweite Heimat, DVD quality

I recently bought Heimat in blu ray quality but as the sequel ( https://www.criticker.com/tv/Die-zweite-Heimat-Chronik/ ) "Die Zweite Heimat" is priced considerably above the 50-55 euros I generally want to spend for series, I decided to buy the DVD version. But now I am in doubt: Does anyone have this series in DVD quality? Can anyone tell me something about the quality? Thanks in advance.

Oh I need to add, you could wonder why I don't check the dvd's myself but they are still packaged and I could still send them back to Amazon if needed. If I unpack them, of course I won't be able to do that anymore.
